Wife Catches Man-Child Husband In A Major Lie About Getting Fired From His Job, Punishes Him By Restricting His WiFi Access

Marriage is supposed to be about partnership. A common issue that comes up in the average marriage is the financial one. Perhaps a couple gets along well when they're not facing financial pressures, but those are bound to arise throughout life. People's true colors come out when they're under pressure, especially financial pressure. After all, money matters are no joke. That's why it's important for the couple to be a team during tough financial times. The couple in today's 'Am I the A$$hole?' post is the opposite of a team. OP believed that her husband was fired from his job in retail because that's what he told her, so all the financial pressure fell on her while he claimed he was looking for a job. After 3 months of her husband not finding a job, she discovered that he lied to her about how he lost his job. It turns out he actually quit and expected her to pick up his slack.     Font - My husband (M30) and I (F32) are going through some financial struggles right now. The reason for that is because my husband lost his job. He didn't earn much anyway working retail, being overworked and underpaid. he said tye reason he lost his job was because of his narcissist boss. money is tight and the load fell on me completely to provide for us and pay for everything including WiFi. he promised to look for a job though!.

    Font - My husband started spending most of his time on his phone. I keep asking if he is looking for a job and he'd say yes but it's been 3 months now. And I grew suspicious because retail jobs aren't easy to find. on the other hand I found myself paying so much towards WiFi service because of his endless activities on the internet.
